Behind the Batch ... 

What started as a love for baking in our home kitchen has grown into a small business filled with big flavor. I’m Lauren, a lifelong baker with over 20 years of experience, and I bake everything fresh from our certified home kitchen in New York State using only top-quality ingredients because great cookies start with the best ingredients.

Our kitchen has recently grown into something even more special. My husband, John, began baking sourdough as a hobby, and it didn’t take long before we along with friends and family were completely hooked. What started as a simple passion quickly turned into beautiful artisan loaves and bagels coming out of our oven. Now, we’re excited to share those small-batch sourdough creations alongside our cookies.

And at the heart of it all is our son, “JR.” His fun, creative cookie ideas were the spark that inspired us to turn our love for baking into something we could share with others. From classic favorites to playful new twists, we’re always testing new recipes to keep things exciting (and delicious).
